Caulfeild Apparel Group Ltd.
|
Caulfeild Apparel was originally established in 1886 as a retail outlet in Toronto,Canada by Hans Caulfeild. By the 1920s, the company had grown into a major merchandise manufacturer and retailer.
In 1970, under the direction of the Purkis family, Caulfeild successfully launched its quality line of bathrobes and developed Canada's only fully automated Eton manufacturing and warehousing operation. These tactics enabled Caulfeild to gain over 30% of the robe and loungewear market and positioned the company as one of the country's leading multi-national merchandisers.
In the 1980s, Caulfeild recognized an opportunity to strategically diversify by licensing and distributing quality branded apparel to its vast network of independent retailers and department stores. By the 90s, Caulfeild's portfolio boasted over 1,500 independent accounts and it was the principal supplier to such large retailers as The Bay, Eaton's and Sears Canada.
Today, Caulfeild licenses and wholesales select men’s and women's apparel and accessory brands for the better-end market.
We continue to invest in its sales and marketing, brand management, customer service and operations. Boasting some of today's top brands, we are experienced and can provide the level of brand management that each of our brands require.
